Hi, my name's Eric Ashworth and I'm a Northern California artist located in Sebastopol about an hour north of San Francisco. I paint photorealistic black and white paintings of places and things I think are beautiful.

My paintings are the result of combining three personal passions: nature, photography and painting. I love getting out into nature and my artwork is an attempt to capture some of what I experience. When I get an idea for a painting, I use photography to start the process and painting to complete it.

I generally hope to share with others some of the enjoyment I experience when I visit these places.
